Powder Coating (-1, -2, -W, ETC.) State-of-the-art environmentally-friendly finish technology features Nightscaping's exclusive 10-year warranty. Electrostatic attraction coats the special 3-way rust-inhibiting undercoating applied to our fixtures and transformers with architectural-grade TGIC polyester pigmented thermo-setting powder which is then fused to the surface to create an extremely durable, long-lasting finish that will withstand years of exposure, even in the harshest of outdoor environments. Black (-1) and Native Green (-2) are standard; white or other custom colors are available at a slight additional charge. Used primarily on steel fixtures but also used to apply reflective white or custom color to aluminum, copper, etc.

 

COPPER
(-CU)
Fixtures are made of high-quality copper, burnished to a high gloss. Over several years, the finish will fade through brown to an antique green (the actual shade dependent on local soil and climatic conditions.) Some non-copper parts may be used for performance.
NOTE: If desired, it is possible to have the copper finish powder-coated a custom color.

 

COPPER VERDE
(-CUV)
Nightscaping's exclusive pre-aging process is hand-applied to natural copper by skilled artisans to create an aged green finish typical of copper which has been exposed to the environment for several years. This creates an atmosphere of maturity and stability in even the newest of gardens, bypasses the long, less-attractive stages of the development of naturally-aging copper verdegris, and allows the fixtures to blend into the landscape during daylight hours.

 

STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel; fixture burnished to a high gloss, PowerCenters polished to a highly reflective state.

 

BRASS
(-BR)
Brass; burnished to a high gloss.

 

VERDE POWDER COAT
(-VP)
Pale, mottled green powder coat finish features Nightscaping's exclusive 10-year warranty. Used on steel and aluminum fixtures to simulate antique copper or brass. NOTE: Do NOT confuse this powder coat finish with Nightscaping's exclusive Copper Verde process, which actually pre-ages copper to its true natural green color.
